The very best of Modern British cooking is served up daily in our restaurant. Head chef Stephen Englefield says: ‘We are trying to create a piece of art on every plate.’

Stephen having moved from Australia has worked with many well known UK chefs, including Chris Hayworth, Peter Templehoff and Micheal Lambi. As head chef at Bradley’s in Swiss Cottage, Stephen produced a fusion of French and English cooking styles. Stephen’s background in French cooking adds interest to Gallery’s menu. ‘I think of traditional British cooking as a good quality steak or other meat, some vegetables and a nice simple, rich sauce,’ says Stephen. The ingredients are British and Irish but the preparation and the presentation have an undeniably French flair.’

Whatever you choose, as Stephen points out, there is something on the menu to suit all tastes. ‘We are starting off with popular English and Irish dishes that people will recognise. The menu will be constantly developing and we will be introducing more adventurous flavours.’
