Gallery is the brainchild of owner Timothy Kelly, chairman of Kelly Leisure Ltd. After an ambitious rebuilding project that took 18 months and cost £4 million, Gallery opened to an enthusiastic local welcome early in November 2005.
In charge of day-to-day running is manager Billy Higgins, while Stephen Englefield is head chef; his sous chef is Florian Pineau.
Our mission is to bring some of the culture and cuisine of the West End to the heart of North London. But our aim is to be more than just another restaurant or gastro pub.
Gallery is a unique location in North London where great food, fine wine, music, entertainment and a stunning art collection come together under the same roof, making it a venue of style and character.
The interior design was by IDIOM, the signature name for the work of Mark Nicholls who has been designing for more than 20 years. He said: “Each new project brings new challenges, new experiences, new ideas and new friendships".
His work covers many different design projects and includes, hotels, banks, offices, TV studios, racing stables and substantial homes. The locations for his design work ranges from New York to Istanbul.
Mark has also appeared as a guest designer on BBC television productions.
